First State Bank seeks a VP, Agricultural Banking Officer to develop and expand agricultural banking relationships in the Central Wisconsin region, including Stevens Point and nearby markets. The role supports loan and deposit growth while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The position offers a remote capability with responsibility for servicing the Central WI area, requiring strong lending expertise and stakeholder collaboration to meet profitability goals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years agricultural lending experience or equivalent education in bank lending policies and procedures.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in finance.
• Agricultural background or equivalent education with ability to understand, communicate with, and relate to agricultural business customers.
• Strong communication skills across face-to-face, over the telephone, via email, and written communications.

Responsabilités

• Support growth of commercial loan and deposit portfolios through agricultural lending.
• Review loan applications and deposit documentation for compliance.
• Present loan details to governing committees for approvals.
• Cross-sell banking products and services to customers.
• Establish and strengthen agricultural loan referral relationships.
