Job description

Position Overview

The Executive Admissions Representative will interface with prospective students in support of the student’s decision to attend school. In addition to communicating the philosophy and features of the school and serving as an advocate for prospective students, the Executive Admissions Representative must meet the school’s established quantitative minimum activity standards in an accurate, professional, compliant, and ethical manner using school-approved admissions processes and procedures and within the Admissions Code of Conduct.

Required Education and Experience

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. 2 years of experience in sales and customer service.

Preferred Education and Experience

1. Four-year degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent) or 5+ years of experience in post-secondary education.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Consistently operate within and evaluate monthly activity against minimum activity standards of the Executive Admissions Representative (found in the Admissions Benchmark Policy/Monthly Activity Standard Evaluation).
2. Develop and manage action plans to meet qualitative performance standards (found in the Annual Performance Review).
3. Professionally assist prospective students through the admissions process per all applicable federal and state regulations, school policies and procedures, and compliance with all accrediting standards and requirements.
4. Use telephone and in-person interviews, chat, text messaging, and e-mail correspondence to identify student prospects and determine their educational needs, concerns, and interests.
5. Knowledge of Commercial Driving business.
6. Develop rapport with prospective students and maintain frequent contact throughout the enrollment cycle.
7. Partner with other departments including Financial Aid and Academics to ensure the delivery of a high level of service to every student including those interested in degree programs.
8. Provide quality service to Veterans agencies and facilitate outside events with organizations and students.

1. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines for multiple concurrent tasks.
3. Ability to remain flexible and easily adapt to work environment and schedule changes.
4. Ability to communicate effectively and provide a positive, professional impression via phone, email, text, and in-person to students and staff from diverse backgrounds.
5. Ability to assist the Admissions department with support and training needs as applicable.
6. Ability to work and succeed individually and as part of a team in a highly structured and regulated work environment.
7. Ability to work remotely in any/all states in which Ancora is licensed/approved to do business.

Required Skills

1. Computer skills required. Experience with Google products (Doc, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) preferred.
2. Possesses excellent verbal communication, particularly telephonic - and good written communication skills.
3. Ability to travel within your area and the US if needed.
4. Persistence combined with a positive attitude and approach to work and others; self-motivating work style.
5. Mature, positive, and collaborative interpersonal skills.
6. Effectively use school systems, databases, and tools.
