Job summary

MSGCU, Michigan Schools & Government Credit Union, is seeking an Administrative Executive Support professional for Troy, MI. This Full-Time/Regular role supports assigned executives by managing schedules, prioritizing tasks, coordinating meetings, and preparing materials that reflect our professional image.

The successful candidate will have an Associate degree, at least three years of administrative experience (preferably in a financial institution), and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Overview of Responsibilities:
  • Executive Support: Anticipates the needs of assigned executives to enable focus on strategic priorities and ensure organizational commitments are achieved. Streamlines executive workload by prioritizing tasks, managing schedules, and coordinating follow-up to maintain momentum on key initiatives. Processes expense reporting for executives to ensure accurate and timely requests.
  • Meeting and Executive Team Coordination: Ensures leadership and committee meetings run seamlessly by preparing agendas. Ensures leadership and committee meetings run seamlessly by compiling meeting materials, coordinating logistics, and confirming technology readiness. Captures and distributes meeting minutes, transcripts, and follow up documentation to support informed decision-making by the Board of Directors and Executive Team. Tracks and monitors action items from meetings to drive accountability and ensure timely completion.
  • Operational and Administrative Support: Improves administrative processes and office systems to increase efficiency and enhance communication across executive teams. Maintains and organizes critical records through the imaging system to ensure secure, accessible, and compliant documentation. Delivers high quality written and presentation materials that reflect the professional image of MSGCU and support executive communications. Provides back-up support to the Executive Assistant and covers other administrative functions as needed to maintain continuity of operations.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience in Adobe Acrobat Professional is a plus. Internet savvy with strong research and information compilation skills.
Education And Experience Requirements
  • Associate degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Three years of related, progressively more responsible administrative support experience required, preferably within a financial institution.
  • Experience supporting executives within a financial institution preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Office and branch location environment with little discomfort from noise, extreme temperature, dust, or other factors.
  • Occasionally required to travel throughout MSGCU's service area as business needs require.
  • Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, such as robbery. Receives detailed instructions and security procedures on an annual basis to minimize risk.
  • This work involves sitting most of the time with brief periods of walking or standing and may occasionally require lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

  • Base pay starts at $24.10 / hour

  • If you are at least 21 years old, you will receive a 3% contribution from MSGCU, and a 100% match for the next 7% you contribute to your 401(k)
  • You will enjoy 12 paid holidays and up to 120 hours of PTO your first year of service (pro-rated based on start date)
