  • Coordinate the daily operations for the Chief of Communications.
  • Communicate with central and campus staff as well as others outside the district in oral and written form.
  • Maintain a schedule of appointments, conferences, and interviews for chief and executive directors.
  • Schedule and prepare for meetings.
  • Organize and manage routine work activities with an emphasis on prioritizing tasks and time.
  • Monitor the division budget and prepare the yearly budget.
  • Maintain attendance records and submit monthly payroll on Oracle.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies.
  • Process requests for purchase orders, check requests, and other purchases and payments.
  • Handle confidential matters in a timely manner.
  • Compile data for reports by researching and summarizing information.
  • Ensure the proper processing of all district forms.
  • Provide regular feedback to supervisor regarding status of projects or issues.
  • Assist with department inventory.
  • Organize and maintain files, both paper and electronic.
  • Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
