Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to support senior leadership and manage critical administrative functions in our US operations. The role involves calendar and travel coordination, meeting planning, and preparing reports and presentations.

The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a high level of discretion, with 5+ years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day and long-range activities of the Light Duty and Heavy Duty business segments.
  • Efficiently manage complex calendars, including setting up, confirming and/or rearranging appointments as necessary.
  • Plan and coordinate travel arrangements including managing and processing expense reports related to travel.
  • Screen incoming executive communication including phone calls, emails, Teams messages, mail and visitors.
  • Communicate with internal and external contacts to resolve problems as necessary.
  • Handle a wide range of administrative support tasks and independently initiate and implement processes to manage projects, information, and people.
  • Research and analyze data to prepare documents for review and presentation.
  • Compile information, analyze, and prepare reports and departmental metrics as required
  • Develop positive and strategic relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Coordinate office needs such as organizing events, maintaining supplies, etc.
  • Schedules conference rooms and meetings as necessary.
  • Uses expertise in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Primary Duties

Qualifications
  • In-depth understanding of office management and the intricacies of scheduling.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality in all matters.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
  • Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 20 pounds.
  • Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.
Education / Experience
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s. degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of related experience required

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $83,600.00 to $124,300.00. This role is also eligible for a bonus. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
