Your role at Clorox:

The Executive Assistant to the Chief Information and Data Officer (CIDO) will be responsible for providing executive support to the highest levels within the group consisting of the CIDO and several other Vice Presidents(“EDTLT”). This role is responsible for understanding the structure and operation of the company to manage the CIDO’s meeting cadence, prioritize & respond to inquiries, and resolve issues with minimal supervision, independently, and proactively. The Executive Assistant will interface with and support communications and initiatives across the organization and externally with vendors.

In this role, you will:
  • Serve as the ambassador for EDT Culture

  • Interact with internal and external customers responding timely and appropriately to meeting and/or information requests

  • Work alongside other assistants and facilities team to coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and interviews across business partners and dispersed locations

  • Formulate information for internal and external communication – memo, emails, presentations, reports

  • Support executive team with internal and external responsibilities activities such as printing presentation materials, scheduling meeting, ordering and handling office supplies

  • Manage complex calendars to support Executive and direct reports

  • Book and arrange travel, including prioritizing detailed itineraries, Visa processing

  • Handle details of highly confidential and critical nature

  • Manage and maintains expense reports in a timely and accurate manner

  • Reconcile all P-card activity using Concur by providing accurate documentation

  • Handle conference room set-up including teleconference meeting set-up for virtual and hybrid meetings

  • Serve as information source, workspace coordinatorand fulfill reasonable requests for EDT

  • Plan and execute major events that are hosted by EDT or requires large meeting coordination, either as the lead or part of the execution team across global locations and time zones

  • Understand new processes within Clorox to educate and support teams for their own use

  • Prepare reports, collect and analyze information; prepare presentations

  • Assist with onboarding and off-boarding team members

  • Provide leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork across the organization

  • Assist the executive team members to determine and prioritize business strategies based on their schedule

  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations and spreadsheets using software applications (e.g. Excel, Power Point, etc.)

  • Participate in Admin training programs and forums

What we look for:
  • 8+ years administrative assistant experience supporting c-suite level executive or experience supporting a CIO and tech organization is preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, SharePoint, and Power Point skills; beginner to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

  • Advanced experience with Outlook email and calendaring program

  • Experience in understanding complex business problems and articulating challenges, proposing solutions and working cross-functionally to achieve goals.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with positive, can-do attitude

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information

  • Ability to handle complex assignments using considerable judgment and initiative

  • Results and detail orientation

  • Follow through on projects and commitments with speed and efficiency

  • Forward-thinking; plan effectively against future needs with a process-minded orientation

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results and meet deadlines with minimal direction

  • Effective time management and ability to multitask

  • Travel as required to support the EDT Leadership Team (less than 10% approx.)

  • Work in Hybrid format, mandatory 4-days per week in the Strickland, Durham, NC office
