Executive Accounting Assistant - Real Estate Development - Base Salary to 68k/year - Austin, TX
- Our client, a small, well-established (30+ years in business) and still rapidly growing real estate development company is seeking an Executive Accounting Assistant to support the executive and finance team at their south Austin, TX (Mon-Fri, 40hrs/week, 8am-5pm). This role reports to the Controller and offers a supportive 4-person department, established processes, mentorship and a team-oriented growth environment
- Our client is seeking an Executive Accounting Assistant with n extremely detail-oriented and organized, self-starter with excellent computer skills (tech savvy) & follow-through willing to balance Accounts Payable tasks, with Executive Assistant duties.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update Expensify system and Manage the main accounting inbox
- Monthly expense reimbursements, pull credit card transaction data, pay office rent, reconcile bank statements, organize AP invoices, track property tax
- Manage the AP functions in Gravity software (vendor records)
- Help transition from paper checks to ACH
- File tax returns (sales, property)
- Help with WIP expense documentation
- Pick up and process company mail, make bank runs, order supplies, and handle other local errands
- Scan, convert, and organize all incoming loan statements and bank statements
- Ad Hoc support as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of office support experience as an Executive Assistant with some accounting, or Accounts Payable Coordinator willing to expand into Administrative Support tasks
- Some experience in Expensify, Microsoft SharePoint, and basic accounting platforms (Gravity or similar is a plus! )
- Able to drive locally (south Austin) for errands
- Experience in property management, real estate development, or private equity back-office operations a plus!
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 60k - 68k/year range
