Zachry Group is seeking an Execution Planning Manager to lead the creation of execution plans during the proposal period and to align them with project schedules once awarded. The role includes field leadership opportunities and advancing the AWP process across projects within Zachry’s planning framework.

Execution Planning Manager has the responsibility to lead the creation of an execution plan during a proposal period, which is the period of time prior to being awarded a project. Once the project has been awarded, the Execution Planning Manager is responsible for leading the enhancement of the execution plan and aligning it with the project schedule during the life cycle of the project. The Execution Planning Manager will use Zachry’s Project Execution Planning Process (ZPEPP®) to ensure proper project planning and execution including the implementation of the AWP process. The expectation is that at some point this person will follow one of the assigned projects to the field in a leadership capacity on that project (such as a General Field Superintendent or AWP Manager).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Employees will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, video chat and software systems. Position will be based from an on-site office on construction sites and industrial facilities requiring mobility (on ground and at heights) and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and work boots
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Employees will work in multiple environments including an office, warehouse and in a trailer or building on construction sites. On construction sites noise levels will be moderate to high. Job sites will contain - light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling and talking, bells whistles and alarms.
