One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking an Execution Planning Engineer III to work on a 12 - month assignment in their facilities in Midland, TX.
Summary:
- Participate in the elimination of Life Altering Hurts; support implementation of Personnel Safety Management System (PSMS) principles during project planning.
- Provide directed support of project cost and schedule deliverables aligned with Global Projects (GP) Delaware Project Building Blocks.
- Support project execution input into early-stage project deliverables for permitting, cost, and schedule deliverables.
- Monitor and track pre-funding integrated project schedule change proposals and participate in developing change resolution alignment between stakeholders.
- Track pre-funding execution deliverable status through completion.
- Participate in pre-funding permit status and stakeholder team alignment meetings.
- Support Execution Engineer alignment needs.
- 95%+ of time in office; ~5% in field sites.
Responsibilities:
- Support Execution Engineer role as needed.
- Attend and participate in safety training and uphold the Delaware team standards.
- Support Global Project process stewardship and system improvement efforts.
- Represent Delaware Projects in project development alignment efforts; early issue identification and resolution planning, early Long Lead Equipment (LLE) identification, early field verification/coordination efforts, raise concerns and seek appropriate support in planning initiatives as warranted.
- Support pre-funding change management and integrated schedule development work processes.
- Participate in pre-funding stakeholder alignment meetings, support follow up activities as appropriate. Support pre-funding Regulatory alignment efforts – understand key engagements (Regulatory, Land, Air, Commingling personnel) and deliverable needs to support project execution objectives.
- Participate in construction site field walks and submit safety observations as required.
Requirements:
- Must have a BS degree in Engineering or related technical studies.
- 10-15 years of experience.
- Prior experience in Project Execution and Planning activities (Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, Project Controls Engineer, Execution Engineer, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and SharePoint).
