Daily Responsibilities

As a Sous Chef, you will:

  • Ensure compliance with departmental/hotel policies and procedures
  • Set priorities and assign tasks to staff
  • Review menu specials and collaborate with the Executive Chef
  • Conduct inventory and quality checks
  • Manage supplies and ensure product quality
  • Monitor guest reactions and coordinate with service staff
  • Assist in menu development and execution
  • Schedule staff and prepare payroll reports
