Job summary

Pro Active Pest Control is seeking motivated individuals to join our Specialty Division in California. This hands-on role focuses on advanced pest and exclusion services for residential and commercial customers, including rodents, bed bugs, birds, termites, insulation, and other specialty work.

No pest control experience? We will train the right candidate. We provide paid training, state licensing, a company vehicle, and the tools needed to build a long-term career with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete established service routes
• Perform specialty repair and exclusion services within the team scope
• Troubleshoot and identify rodent, exclusion, and pest-related issues
• Inspect residential and commercial properties
• Perform pest treatments and specialty services
• Exercise time and route management
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding services and recommendations
• Support company production, service, and sales goals
• Continually refine skills, knowledge, and technical abilities

Pro Active Pest Control is currently seeking motivated individuals with construction, handyman, maintenance, or home service experience to join our growing Specialty Division.

Our Specialty Team handles advanced pest and exclusion services including rodents, bed bugs, birds, termite services, insulation, and other specialty work for residential and commercial customers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, customer interaction, and working independently in the field.

No pest control experience? No problem. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Exercise strong daily time management and route management
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding services and recommendations
• Help support company production, service, and sales goals
• Continually refine skills, knowledge, and technical abilities
• Follow company safety standards, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, carry, and move equipment regularly
• Ability to climb ladders, work in attics/crawlspaces, and occasionally work at heights
• Experience using power tools and performing basic construction or repair work preferred
• Must have or be willing to obtain a California SPCB Branch II or Branch III license (paid training provided for qualified candidates)
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and accountability
• Willingness to learn and continue developing technical skills

Schedule

Full-Time Position
Monday through Friday with weekend availability as needed.

Work Setting: Field-Based / In the Field
