Discover a career with rich rewards, limitless opportunities for growth/mobility, and competitive salaries and benefits. The Salisbury VAMC is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide quality care under the Chief of the Cardiology Section of Medicine Service.

Duties include but are not limited to:

The Non-Invasive Cardiologist focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various heart and blood vessel conditions, including but not limited to coronary artery disease, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, valvopathies, acute coronary syndromes, unstable angina, non-ST myocardial infarction, ST elevation myocardial infarction, chronic stable angina, heart arrhythmias, peripheral arterial disease, and congestive heart failure.

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is impossible to recruit qualified citizens, in accordance with VA Policy.
• Education: A Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine is required.
• Licensure: A current, complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Residency: Completion of a residency program in an accredited core specialty.
• Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology.
