Job Description:
Pay Range: $60/hr - $65/hr
Strategic Planning and Design:
- An architect-level O365 SME is responsible for strategic planning and architectural design of Office 365 environments, focusing on technical requirements and enterprise objectives.
Key Technical Activities Include:
- Conducting needs analysis, system audits, and gap assessments.
- Designing scalable, high-availability Office 365 architectures with multi-geo capabilities.
- Handling large environments and multitenant/hybrid configurations.
- Scripting with PowerShell for automation.
- Hands-on experience with ODFB, Teams, EXO, and SPOL.
- Developing deployment roadmaps, including hybrid and multi-cloud strategies.
- Ensuring architecture aligns with ITIL and compliance standards.
Deployment and Migration:
- Overseeing deployment and migration processes.
- Architecting migration strategies using MS Native tools, Azure Migrate, ShareGate, and BitTitan.
- Configuring Office 365 services like Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
- Bridging technical teams, management, and end-users.
- Partnering with vendors and cloud providers.
- Communicating project updates and milestones.
- Integrating Office 365 with other enterprise systems.
- Supporting digital transformation initiatives.
Security and Compliance:
- Implementing security measures and policies.
- Managing conditional access, identity protection, ATP, Defender, and DLP.
- Ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA.
- Conducting security audits and risk assessments.
- Experience with Proofpoint is preferred.
Performance Optimization:
- Monitoring and tuning Office 365 environments.
- Using Power BI and Admin Center for analytics.
- Implementing network and resource optimizations.
- Staying updated with Office 365 updates and best practices.
User Support and Training:
- Providing technical support and training.
- Developing training programs and workshops.
- Offering troubleshooting assistance.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Proactively seeking enhancements and future-proofing solutions.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Pursuing certifications and professional development.
- Implementing innovative solutions and fostering a culture of learning.
