Pinon Unified School District in Pinon, Arizona, is seeking an Exceptional Student Services Teacher to join our dedicated team. You will provide instruction and support to students with exceptional needs, collaborate with staff, and help implement individualized education plans across settings.

Required: bachelor's degree in education or related field, Arizona teaching certificate with EIS endorsements, knowledge of special education laws, and ability to work with diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required.
• Arizona teaching certificate with endorsements in exceptional student services required.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations governing special education.
• Experience with students with various exceptionalities and disabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other teachers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support to students with exceptional needs, in collaboration with other teachers and staff.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Assist with the development and implementation of behavior modification plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on student progress and services provided.
• Collaborate with families and community agencies to support student achievement and well-being.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development activities as required.
