Job summary

Marshall Medical Center in Placerville, CA, invites a pediatrician to join a rural health clinic team. The role primarily supports outpatient pediatric care with newborn nursery rounds and occasional deliveries in a well-staffed setting.

Responsibilities include rounding on newborns, attending deliveries as needed, and collaborating with obstetricians and CNMs. Expect a 4- or 5-day work week, with a generous compensation package and full benefits; PSLF site is available.

Marshall, an award-winning community hospital, is looking for a pediatrician to join our team of 4 Pediatricians, 1 Nurse Practitioner and excellent support staff in the Sierra Foothills. The selected candidate will join a busy practice in a beautiful medical office with a large insured population. Your primary role is supporting a Pediatrics outpatient practice, while doing a small number of newborn nursery rounds and attending a very small amount of deliveries. Additional compensation is given for the deliveries you attend.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

• Established Rural Health Clinic in Placerville that works with an independent community hospital

• Full time position as a 4 or 5 day work week to provide flexibility for your needs

  • A work week requires 32 face to face patient care hours

  • A full time position requires a minimum 188 workdays/year

• See an average of 15-18 patients per day

• Compensation range: $304,000- $377,000
