Job summary

Summit Home Care is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) in New York to provide in-home care and support for patients. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, accompanying to appointments, and helping with household tasks while maintaining compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must have NY HHA certification and be in good standing.
• Two recommendation letters and a recent physical are required.
• TB screening and flu shot are expected as part of health requirements.
• Rubella & Rubeola titer lab work may be requested.
• Chain of Custody Drug Screen within the last 6 months.
• Excellent staff training and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Accompany patients to doctor's appointments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide health care services in patients' residences
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Accompany patients to doctor's appointments

• Help clients with personal care
• Monitor patients and report on their condition

Requirements:

• Active HHA Certification in the state of New York
• Government Issued ID, Social Security Card & Work Authorization, if needed
• 2 Recommendation Letters
• Recent Physical
• TB Screening (Quantiferon preferred)
• Flu shot
• Rubella & Rubeola titer lab work
• Chain of Custody Drug Screen no older than 6 months
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
