Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Exception Dangerous Goods Specialist to manage all air DG shipments and related no-read lane exceptions. You will ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely processing of hazardous materials in a fast-paced distribution center.

This role requires DG certification, MS Office proficiency, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and basic math and computer literacy. One year of DC or quality experience is preferred.

• One year distribution center or quality experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and work within time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Process all Dangerous Goods shipments by air and handle no-read lane exceptions.
• Audit shipments diverted into express lanes.
• Maintain DG filing and keep 5S and safety compliance.
• Complete all DG shipments by end of shift.
• Update and ship correctly all no-read lane exceptions.
• Update carrier-returned exceptions and ship correctly.
• Wrap pallets, record weights, and stage pallets for loading.
• Consolidate orders by pick slip to determine shipment or staging.
• Operate forklift or pallet jack to load/move pallets.
• Load product into trailers; apply labels and documentation.
• Ensure print and apply machines function.
• Other duties as assigned.
