Title: Senior Data Quality Engineer - W2
Locations: Seattle, WA; Santa Monica, CA; New York, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months/contract
Note: W2 candidates only

Basic Responsibilities:

• Test and validate ETL logic and Data Pipelines.
• Own the quality of every release into production with a data-driven approach.
• Create, deliver, and improve quality processes for operational data delivery to stakeholders.
• Partner with Data Analysts, Product, and Engineering teams to understand transactional systems and business use cases.
• Translate technical specifications into test requirements.
• Build automated, reusable tests for data stores to enhance quality and development speed.
• Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression tests for recurring bugs.
• Mentor fellow Test Engineers on automation concepts and expand test coverage.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 7 years of experience validating ETL pipelines and Data Warehouses.
• Expertise in SQL and working with relational databases and other database types.
• Experience in data analytics, engineering, modeling, warehousing, and big data platforms.
• Strong programming (Scala/Java) or scripting skills (Python).
• Experience with testing tools like JUnit, TestNG, BDD, or similar.
• Familiarity with big data tools such as Airflow, Hive, Snowflake, Databricks, Spark.
• Experience working with large datasets (terabytes or more).
• Effective team collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of end users and technical staff.
