Excellent Opportunities for X-Ray, CT, and Ultrasound Technologists

BronxCare Health System, a major teaching hospital and health system, now has excellent opportunities for X-Ray, CT, and Ultrasound Technologists in its Department of Radiology. Responsibilities include performing high-quality radiographic imaging on patients (inpatient, outpatient, and ER) and utilizing radiation safety techniques such as shielding, collimation, and ALARA principles. Additional responsibilities include transporting patients to and from imaging rooms, providing patient comfort measures, following infection control standards, and informing appropriate personnel when equipment repair is needed.

The following positions are now immediately available:

Radiologic X-Ray Technologists

• Full-time (35 hours weekly) Monday–Friday and weekends for day shift (9 am–5 pm), as well as for evening shift (12 pm–8 pm).
• Part-time (21 hours weekly) Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for night shift (12 am–8 am).
• Additional part-time night shift positions are also available for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

CT Technologists

Registered Ultrasound Technologists

• Full-time (35 hours weekly) for the evening shift (3 pm–11 pm).
• Part-time (21 hours weekly) for the evening shift.
• Per diem positions are also available.

Qualified candidates for the X-Ray Technologist positions must have a two-year degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and a current New York State license as an X-ray Technologist (ARRT).

Qualified candidates for the Registered Ultrasound Technologist positions must have a degree from an accredited Sonography program and ARDMS registration. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred for these positions.

We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. Hourly wages for the X-Ray Technologist positions are $42.92 for 0–2 years of experience, $44.50 for 2–5 years of experience, and $46.70 for 5–10 years of experience. Weekly/hourly wages for the Ultrasound Technologist positions are $1,505/$43 for 0–2 years of experience, $1,541.68/$44.04 for 2–5 years of experience, and $1,621.96/$46.34 for 5–10 years of experience.
