Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs invites motivated students to join as a Manufacturing Planning Analyst Intern in Butler, PA. You will work with engineering and operations to craft schedules, analyze production data, and help forecast demand, while supporting delivery commitments.

The internship offers hands-on experience with Excel and SQL Server tools, plus exposure to the steel industry’s end-to-end planning processes. This is an on-site program designed for rising junior-year students.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BS program in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Must complete sophomore year by summer 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Build production schedules to support customer delivery expectations.
• Manage WIP inventories.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Accounting on planning/scheduling and expediting orders.
• Utilize Excel and SQL Server Management Studio to retrieve, filter, and validate data.
• Produce standard daily/weekly/monthly reports and analysis highlighting issues and actions.
