Responsibilities

• Verifies postings in ledgers and journals for accuracy and compliance.
• Verifies accuracy of accounting ledgers and resolves discrepancies.
• Compiles data and prepares spreadsheets for financial activities.
• Prepares monthly/annual reports and supports budgeting.
• Assists in developing accounting procedures and policies.
• May supervise Accounting Clerk or Accountant I positions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
