Position Overview:

We are currently hiring for Excavator Operator to transport materials and equipment to and from construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving record, and a commitment to delivering goods safely and on time. Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles with a Class A CDL license
• Transport goods and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure a safe driving environment
• Perform routine pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues
• Assist excavation foreman with necessary tasks (grading, trenching, digging, and backfilling) to finish up projects, when not hauling materials
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs and records
• Communicate effectively with Yard Manager and Supervisors
• Ensure the security of the vehicle and handle it with care to prevent damage

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
• Experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations
• Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers
• Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed
