Job summary

WW Clyde is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator in Arizona to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment on construction sites. The role requires discipline, focus, and a thorough understanding of safety protocols to protect workers and maintain equipment integrity.

You will read and interpret construction plans and specifications, coordinate with management and subcontractors, supervise material movement, and ensure work is performed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating an excavator.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze project data.
• A commitment to safety at all times.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspections to ensure proper equipment maintenance.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently to meet schedule and budget.
• Collaborate with management and subcontractors to achieve high-quality results.
• Operate equipment for excavation, grading, and backfilling.
• Move materials and heavy objects as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Duties

• Daily proper inspections to ensure the equipment is properly maintained
• Operating equipment safely and efficiently to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget
• Work closely with management and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed to the highest level of quality
• Operate equipment to perform activities such as excavatingand grading, and backfilling excavations
• Ability to move materials, earth, and other heavy objects as needed
• Other duties as assigned
