Job summary

PURIS is seeking an Operator in Houston, TX to conduct trenchless pipe rehabilitation installations safely and efficiently under the supervision of the Operations Manager.

The role involves equipment operation, site setup, utility and manhole work, and adherence to safety procedures. CDL is preferred, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within our North American operations.

Qualifications

• Good communications and interaction skills.
• Accurate, detailed, reliable and able to follow orders with minimal supervision.
• Ability to be proactive and troubleshoot.
• Solid understanding of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Able to work in extreme environments and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Checks and fuels vehicles and performs light mechanical adjustments and assists mechanic in repairs on assigned equipment.
• Sets up trench jacks
• Distributes notices to residents and businesses as instructed
• Chips Manholes
• Repairs Manholes
• Fuses Pipe
• Sets up winches and connect hoses
• Assists with install of liner, operates inverter, cut liner
• Restoration and clean up

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Operator will conduct all the daily activities associated with Trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Checks and fuels vehicles and performs light mechanical adjustments and assists mechanic in performing repairs on assigned equipment.
• Sets up trench jacks

Experience And Qualifications

• Incumbent must possess and demonstrate proficiency in the above responsibilities. Must demonstrate good communications and interaction skills.
• Must be accurate, detailed, reliable and able to follow orders on projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must have ability to be proactive and trouble shoot.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Must be able to work in extreme work environments, conditions and confined spaces. Position requires fit physical condition.
