Civil Works Contracting is seeking an Excavator Operator to safely operate excavators and related heavy equipment on construction sites in North Carolina. The role requires adherence to project specifications, safety regulations, and effective communication with supervisors and teammates.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience with excavators or similar heavy equipment, a valid driver’s license, and basic mechanical aptitude.

Responsabilidades

• Operate excavators for digging, trenching, and earthmoving tasks at construction sites.
• Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Monitor and maintain machine performance during operation.
• Follow site plans, drawings, and instructions from supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and governmental regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors on project progress.
• Assist with routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs of equipment.
• Understand and operate in accordance with environmental guidelines.
