Job summary

Glass Roots Construction (GRC) seeks skilled Excavator Operators local to the Portland, OR area to join our growing team. You will operate heavy equipment, maintain site safety, and support field crews on diverse utility construction projects.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of excavator experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel within Oregon. Expect 40-hour weeks with potential overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Excavator experience of at least 1 year.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• On-call and weekend availability.
• Travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate various heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, backhoes, loaders) safely and efficiently.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order at all times.
• Maintain clear communication with field crew via hand signals or radio to coordinate operation of heavy equipment.
• Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) prior to starting construction and adhere to safety procedures.
• Some overtime, weekend work, or travel may be required to complete projects in Oregon.
