BrightPath Engineering is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator in Los Angeles to operate and maintain heavy machinery, excavate and move earth, and support construction projects at various sites.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, a valid driver's license, and strong safety awareness. The candidate must read blueprints and follow site instructions, with good communication and physical stamina for outdoor work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years operating an excavator in construction or similar setting.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of safety regulations for heavy equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret project plans.
• Physically fit to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Strong communication and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavator safely and efficiently according to policies.
• Perform daily maintenance checks and report issues.
• Excavate and move soil, rock, gravel, sand, or debris with heavy machinery.
• Follow site supervisor instructions and coordinate with team members.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed to prevent accidents and equipment damage.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each job site.
