Job summary

MFA Incorporated is seeking a skilled crane operator to unload barges and perform routine maintenance on the crane and loader. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure safety and efficiency in daily operations.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma plus crane operating and mechanical experience, and be ready to communicate clearly, follow safety policies, and keep equipment and work areas clean.

Qualifications

• Crane operating experience required.
• Mechanical experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Unloading barges with minimal breakdowns or delays
• Keep constant communication with the office to ensure safety
• Take measures to prevent spills or waste materials
• General maintenance of crane and loader
• Keep crane and loader in operating order
• Communicate with supervisor regarding necessary repairs
• Operate the front-end loader when needed
• Grease and maintain loader
• Keep cab and working area clean

• This person will be responsible for unloading barges safely and efficiently, as well as the general maintenance of the equipment.
• This position is required to keep close communication with the Operations Manager for safety purposes.
