We are seeking an experienced Civil Excavator Operator to join our Construction Division based in Hamilton.

You will operate 8-25T Excavators and participate in various construction activities, including:

1. General earthworks, road widening, and detailed excavation
2. Pavement construction and kerbing preparation
3. Drainage excavation, including water tabling and rural pipe installation
4. Shaping and trimming of batters
5. Ensuring high-quality infrastructure projects are delivered according to plan using your expert operator skills

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be a NZ resident or citizen
• Have a background in civil construction
• Be able to work independently and have an eye for detail
• Hold a Class 2 licence and WTR as a minimum
• Previous experience with GPS-enabled equipment is advantageous
• Pay attention to detail and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
• Leadership and crew management skills are beneficial
• Be committed to workplace safety, quality, punctuality, reliability, respect for others, and teamwork
