Qualifications

• Setting trench boxes safely to protect workers.
• Safe spoil placement following project plans.
• Basic first aid & CPR training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre- and post-shift inspections and basic maintenance.
• Dig at grade for sanitary, sewer and water projects.
• Safely set trench boxes to prevent cave-ins.
• Place spoil material safely and according to plan.
• Apply basic first aid and CPR if needed.

Job description

Weare seeking skilled heavy equipment operators in the greater Indianapolis area.

Skills required for the job include but are not limited to:

• Daily pre & post-shift equipment inspection / preventative maintenance
• Digging at grade (sanitary, sewer, water)
• Safely setting trench boxes
• Safe spoil placement
• Basic first aid & CPR training

Highly sought-out skills include:

• OSHA 10 / OSHA 30
• Heavy civil site blueprint reading
• Digging for deep sanitary repair /install

Experience with the following equipment considered a plus:

• Loader (5-10 yd bucket)
• Scraper
• Roller/Compactor

Work Week: Monday-Saturday
Must have reliable transportation
