Cam-Ful Industries in North Carolina seeks an experienced Equipment Operator to support commercial plumbing and underground utility installations. The role involves trenching, grading, material handling, and maintaining safe access around active sites.

You will work with foremen and field crews, perform inspections, follow safety rules, and assist with equipment setup and basic maintenance. A valid driver's license and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of documented experience operating excavation or earthmoving equipment on commercial construction or underground utility projects.
• Knowledge of trenching, excavation, underground utility awareness, and daily equipment inspections.
• Ability to work from grade, depth, offset, and layout instructions.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate excavators, backhoes, skid steers, loaders, trenchers, compactors, and other equipment.
• Excavate trenches and work areas for underground plumbing and related utilities.
• Perform grading, backfilling, compaction, loading, unloading, and material handling.
• Follow layout, grade, depth, and location instructions from field leadership.
• Coordinate movements with foremen, spotters, and truck drivers.
• Assist with equipment setup, fueling, cleaning, and basic preventive care.
• Follow safety requirements for trenching, excavation, and jobsite activities.
• Protect company equipment, tools, and materials.
