Job summary

A utility service provider in Scranton is seeking an experienced operator for hydraulic excavation equipment. The role involves loading and unloading equipment, operating machinery to assist in placing underground utilities, and ensuring safe practices. Candidates should possess a Class A CDL and have at least one year of experience with directional bore drills. A full benefits package including health, dental, and vision is provided. Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Willing to work outside in varying weather conditions.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background screen.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment in a manner that is secure and damage-free.
• Operate the equipment to assist in placing underground utilities.
• Complete a daily inspection of equipment prior to commencing work.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret engineering/construction prints

Knowledge of utility depths and placements

General knowledge of construction practices

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks

Education

Class A CDL

One year of experience operating a directional bore drill

Previous rock boring experience

One year of Hydraulic Excavators experience
