Job summary

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and energetic High School Math Tutor to inspire and empower students in their academic journey. In this role, you will deliver engaging, personalized instruction in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and other advanced topics as well as SAT/ACT Math prep. Your enthusiasm for teaching and strong understanding of math concepts will help students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can make a meaningful impact on students’ lives while honing your teaching skills.

Duties:

• Teach from our customized lesson plans aligned with high school curricula and individual student needs.
• Assist students with understanding complex concepts.
• Prepare students for standardized tests and exams through targeted test preparation tutoring strategies.
• Monitor student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods to maximize learning outcomes.

We are open:

• Mon­days through Thursdays: 3pm-9:30pm
• Fridays: 3pm-8pm
• Saturdays: 9am-5pm
• Sundays: 10am-6pm

We are looking for a minimum of 10 hours of availability a week (weekend availability is looked for as well).
