Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Flint is seeking a Maintenance Engineer with an ex-forces background for a 3-shift role. The position focuses on keeping production lines running and developing automation and metal manufacturing capabilities through PLC training.

The role includes fully funded external electrical courses and in-house PLC training, with overtime opportunities and a pension scheme. You will work on mechanical and electrical maintenance across motors, gearboxes and control panels.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience on automation and metal manufacturing machinery.
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance including motors, gearboxes, sensors and PLCs.
• Experience of fault finding and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain automation and manufacturing machinery and lines.
• Fault find and maintain gearboxes, motors, sensors, panels and PLCs.
• Work in a 3-shift rotation (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am).
• Overtime paid at premium rates and shift allowances.
• Pursue fully funded qualifications such as level 3 NVQ.
