Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is seeking an EWP Sawyer to cut i-joists to specifications and produce quality products in a routine setting. The role requires reading cut sheets, configuring machines, and maintaining inventory under minimal supervision.

Candidate should be able to work Mon-Fri 7am-4pm with occasional weekends, and be comfortable working in varying weather conditions in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather materials needed to perform the job according to requirements.
• Read cut sheets to determine amount, size and grade of material to cut.
• Set up machines to ensure accuracy of cuts.
• Ensure a quality product is produced and maintain inventory with accurate counts.
• Manage an equipment servicing schedule and meet production goals.
