Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to lead end-to-end SAP EWM deployments, configure modules, and design custom RICEF solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and drive successful project outcomes across multiple sites.

The role requires strong communication, project leadership, and hands-on SAP configuration with a proven track record in SAP EWM implementations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (4-year degree) required.
Typically 4–6 years relevant experience.
At least 3 years hands-on experience delivering SAP EWM solutions.
Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based team members.
Experience leading client-facing engagements, mentoring team members, and managing stakeholder expectations throughout project delivery.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to research complex client issues, emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in technology business requirements definition, analysis, and mapping.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel estimated at 40-60%.
Prior consulting industry experience or deep industry experience in warehouse management (ideally).
SAP certification(s), preferably in SAP EWM or related Supply Chain Management solutions.
Experience leading or participating in at least two full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations.
Experience performing hands-on SAP system configuration.
Experience designing and documenting custom RICEF solutions, including functional specifications.
Experience integrating SAP EWM with S/4HANA, MM, SD, PP, and TM.
Experience developing, executing, and managing test strategies, test scripts, and defect resolution activities.
Experience writing and delivering training materials for end users.
Knowledge and understanding of warehouse operations for distribution and/or manufacturing facility operations

Responsibilities

Deliver strategic SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions that transform clients' logistics operations
Interact with business stakeholders to evaluate business models, processes, and operations
Gather, understand, and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Analyze implemented technology solutions to ensure they meet business requirements
Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions
Lead and deliver quality SAP projects and workstreams
Manage processes and solutions
Track deliverable completion and project status against performance objectives
Lead client working sessions from planning through execution and closure
Participate in Explore phase design workshops
Configure SAP EWM and related SAP modules
Design custom RICEF solutions and document functional specifications
Test solutions
Support development and delivery of training materials
Provide on-site hypercare support to client warehouse users
