Job summary

Gulfstream Savannah is offering a career-building internship focused on aircraft electrical wire harness design and certification. You will contribute to wire diagrams, loom drawings, 3D installations, and certification documentation, while collaborating on engineering dispositions and inspection plans.

You must be enrolled as a full-time student, pursuing a bachelor's or higher in EE, AE, ME, or CS, with a 3.0 GPA, and be available for 14-16 weeks on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be available for full-time on-site work in Savannah
• Actively enrolled in school during the internship
• Expected graduation December 2027 or later
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, listed on resume
• Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science Engineering major
• Must be enrolled as a full-time student at application and actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher
• Completion of sophomore year required before internship start date
• Juniors must complete 2 rotations; seniors and graduate students must complete 1 rotation
• Minimum duration: 14-16 weeks for spring and fall
• Must be onsite; not a remote position
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• No work visa sponsorship unless applicant is a currently sponsored Gulfstream employee

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and certification of aircraft electrical wire harnesses
• Work on airplane wiring, wiring devices, conduits, shields, and clamps for transmitting electrical energy
• Support EWIS deliverables including wire diagrams, loom drawings, 3D installations, secondary structure design, certification documentation, reports, inspection plans, and engineering dispositions
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Participate in a career-building internship within a world-class aerospace organization
