AeroTEC, Inc. seeks an Aerospace Engineer specializing in EWIS at the Seattle Engineering Center to perform design and integration tasks for electrical systems across programs.

You will analyze requirements, produce wiring diagrams and harness data reports, review configurations, and collaborate with Systems, Electrical, Avionics, EMC and Safety teams. The role emphasizes independent judgment, adherence to certification rules such as SAE-AS50881 and DO-160, and opportunities to implement process

Qualificações

• Four-year engineering degree (Aerospace, Avionics, Electrical, or Instrumentation) or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience utilizing Capital Harness.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft wiring, harness assemblies, components, and routing.
• Experience working with electrical schematics and test environments.
• Familiarity with FAR Part 25 Subpart H and certification rules addressing EWIS.
• Familiarity with SAE-AS50881 and RTCA/DO-160.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze design requirements and perform trade-off studies based on customer specifications, technical documentation, and electrical configurations.
• Produce and validate electrical documentation, including wiring diagrams (WD) and harness data reports (HDR).
• Review electrical configurations of aircraft systems, ensuring thorough understanding of schematics and technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, including Systems, Electrical, Avionics, EMC, and Safety.
• Partner with non-engineering disciplines, such as Quality, Logistics, Methods, and Customer Support, to ensure project alignment.
