Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Developer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, to conduct M&S development, runs and analysis in multi-agent environments and translate EW algorithms into an M&S framework for test and evaluation.

The ideal candidate has US citizenship, an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, and experience with AFSIM, Python and MATLAB interfacing in an M&S setting. A degree in Engineering or Physics is required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering, Physics, or related field with the required years of experience.
• US Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Experience with AFSIM or similar tools: modifying source code, creating plug-ins and setup scenarios.
• Experience using Python and/or MATLAB languages and interfacing these languages in an M&S environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct M&S development, runs and analysis in multi-agent M&S environments.
• Develop software in various languages and platforms.
• Communicate technical information via presentations, papers, meetings.
• Process large amounts of data into readable results for stakeholders.
• Translate EW algorithms from theory into an M&S framework for test and evaluation.
• Utilize EW principles in algorithm development and optimization.
• Debug algorithms and source code in a complex M&S environment.
