Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Test Engineer to support the Navy's EW programs at Point Mugu, CA. This onsite role focuses on building and testing lab benches, configuring test environments, and ensuring hardware readiness for mission simulations.

Candidates must have a BS degree (or equivalent), 3+ years of electronics design, testing and troubleshooting, and an active Secret clearance; US citizenship is required. Position is contingent on funding.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with electronics design, testing and troubleshooting.
• BS Degree (or equivalent experience).
• Security Clearance: Active Secret required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, modify, repair, maintain and test EW lab benches.
• Perform daily start-up of bench systems to check operational integrity and performance.
• Calibrate and test various systems and components as required.
• Support creation or maintenance of required process or certification documentation.
