About Care & Help

Choosing home care services in Philadelphia can be a difficult and uncertain decision. Care & Help Home Care, LLC is a trusted home health care provider within the Philadelphia area that is committed to providing home care services that are transparent, professional, and excellent. Our large staff of caregivers and home health aides are experienced and screened to be able to provide non-skilled and non-medical services for seniors.

CARE AND HELP HOME CARE, LLC ("Company") provides non-skilled services to individuals in their homes or other independent living environments. These services include assistance with medications, personal care, homemaking, transportation, companionship, respite care, and other non-skilled services. The Company conducts background checks, physicals, tuberculosis screening, training and competency evaluations for all direct care workers and office staff with direct consumer contact. Workers are required to complete a minimum of forty hours of experience or practical training and a competency evaluation, or a state certification program.

Job Summary

The Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing overview and maintenance of EVV data in compliance with State and Federal regulations. The EVV Coordinator plays a vital role in the confirmation of visit data elements to ensure timely and successful payroll processing. The EVVC will also support ongoing EVV education within the Care Center including new hire training and meeting with current staff to support caregiver understanding and successful utilization. Collaborate and offer resources to Scheduling when dealing with caregiver pay issues and EVV compliance. The EVVC is expected to be the onsite EVV expert as a resource for all Care Center personnel pertaining to all elements of the EVV system, process, and compliance mandates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule caregiver assignments based on client needs, caregiver availability, and geographical considerations.
  • Ensure appropriate matching of caregivers to clients, taking into account client preferences, language requirements, and specialized care needs.
  • Continuously monitor and update caregiver schedules to accommodate changes in client care plans or caregiver availability.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with caregivers to provide guidance, support, and address any scheduling or client-related issues.
  • Onsite EVV expert supporting assigned Care Center(s).
  • Supplying EVV training to Care Center Staff, Field Staff, and New Hires.
  • Assist users in setting up and configuring mobile applications on various smartphone platforms (iOS, Android, etc.).
  • Conduct outreach to non-compliant individuals; determine the cause of noncompliance and assist them to become compliant with State regulations.
  • Supporting Business acquisitions with EVV and system roll outs.
  • Monitor and mitigate EVV System alerts, and timesheet approvals to resolution to ensure compliance is met.
  • Monitor and manage visit and other data flow from Scheduler to EVV System and back to Scheduler ensuring smooth transaction and application of proper configuration and rules.
  • Daily review and processing of all non-EVV payroll paperwork, resolving issues with scheduling, field employees and other management to ensure correct payment of wages.
  • Member of payroll call group receiving and triaging all calls to Payroll Department.
  • Supports Payroll Department with inquiries from employees and others regarding payroll. Research issues and communicate findings in a timely manner.
  • Provides support with internal and external audits specializing in the extraction and explanation of EVV and non-EVV data.
  • Assists to maintain appropriate EVV compliance (85%+).
  • Monitor the quality of care provided, conducting regular check-ins with clients and caregivers to ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, their families, and caregivers, providing exceptional customer service and promptly addressing inquiries or concerns.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other relevant stakeholders to coordinate care and ensure the overall well-being of clients.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and their families to provide updates, address changes in care needs, and foster positive relationships with clients and service coordinators (payers).
  • Educate clients and their families on available home care services, resources, and community support options.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including care plans, contact information, missed visits in compliance timeframe of 24-48hr and relevant documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements pertaining to home care services.
  • On call responsibilities (Paid).
  • Assist in the coordination of caregiver training, orientation, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for services rendered.

  • Proven experience in a healthcare or home care coordination role preferred but not required. On-site job training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with home care software and scheduling systems preferred but not required.
Physical Demands
  • Must remain in stationary position for long periods of time at desk or computer.
  • Requires occasional standing, sitting, walking; using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reaching with hands and arms; climbing stairs; hearing; talking.
