Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO is seeking an Environmental Services Transport Technician to maintain sanitary conditions and infection control standards across CoxHealth facilities. You will assist with cleaning and moving supplies between departments, ensuring a safe, orderly hospital environment.

The role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, work independently, and respond promptly using phones, pagers, and radios.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with safety protocols and infection control basics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain environmental and infection control standards across hospital settings.
• Clean and maintain areas in sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition; may travel between facilities.
• Respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers, etc.
• Follow safety rules and advocate for patient health and safety.
