Job summary

Meyer Orthopedic Surgical Center, part of CoxHealth, in Springfield, Missouri, is hiring an Environmental Services Technician for the evening shift. You will maintain cleanliness, infection-control standards, and sanitary conditions across the hospital and adjacent buildings, traveling between facilities as needed.

The role requires the ability to work independently after hours, stand and walk for long periods, and follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; not strictly required.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training may be provided.
• Must be able to work alone and after hours, with strict adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hospital areas to sanitary, orderly, and attractive standards.
• Respond to communications by phone, radios, or pagers and coordinate with teams.
• Travel between Meyer Orthopedic Surgical Center and other CoxHealth facilities as needed.
• Follow infection-control policies and use PPE according to safety guidelines.
