Santa Rosa Medical Center Inc is seeking an Environmental Services Worker II to clean, sanitize and maintain hospital facilities, ensuring a safe, hygienic environment for patients, staff and visitors. You will perform floor care, waste removal, linen handling, spill cleanup and general cleaning in line with hospital policies and infection control standards.

This role requires 1-3 years of environmental services or related experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work

Qualificações

• 1-3 years of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, custodial work, or hospital facility maintenance required
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, and floor care techniques
• Ability to follow infection control standards and safety procedures

Responsabilidades

• Performs floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, and shampooing as needed
• Collects, removes, and disposes of waste per hospital policies and regulatory guidelines
• Handles soiled linens and replaces with clean bags
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
• Responds to spills with proper disinfection and safety precautions
• Moves furniture and equipment for cleaning or relocations
• Monitors cleaning supply usage and ensures safe storage and usage
• Communicates maintenance needs to supervisor or facilities department
• Maintains cleaning logs and documents completed tasks
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance
• Complies with all policies and standards
