Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO is hiring an Environmental Services Technician to maintain sanitary conditions across the hospital and associated facilities. The role supports infection control and cleanliness, traveling between sites as needed, and communicating via phones, radios, and pagers.

The position requires no formal education, with HS diploma preferred, and no prior experience is required. The job is part-time, day shift, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

The Environmental Services Technician maintains environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures. Essential duties include cleaning and maintaining areas in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition within the hospital and adjacent buildings, which may require traveling from one facility to another. Respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers etc.
