Augusta Health is hiring an Environmental Services Technician (EVS Tech) for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) to maintain cleanliness in patient care areas and support operations across hospital spaces in Fishersville, Virginia. The role emphasizes sanitation, safety, and teamwork within a mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the United States and Virginia employment requirements.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior hospital/healthcare environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, servicing and replenishing duties in assigned hospital areas to maintain sanitation per standards.
• Provide daily housekeeping in patient care areas including lounges, rest rooms, nurses’ stations and offices.
• Follow 7-step cleaning procedures and maintain patient safety and privacy.
• Support with patient discharge room turnover and restocking of supplies.
• Work second shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with rotating weekends and holidays.
