Augusta Health is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EVS Tech) for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM). This role performs cleaning and housekeeping in assigned hospital areas to maintain sanitation standards and patient comfort, with a rotating weekend schedule and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the United States and meet Virginia state employment requirements
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior experience in a hospital, healthcare system, or related service-oriented environment is a plus
• Familiarity with Augusta Health’s systems, workflows, or organizational culture is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provides daily housekeeping services in the patient care area, using 7-step cleaning procedures
• Maintains equipment and supplies; reporting deficiencies promptly
• Promotes harmonious relationships and positive attitudes among staff and patients
• Respects patient dignity and privacy while performing duties
• Assists with patient care as needed and communicates effectively with nursing staff
