Job summary

Brookings Health System is looking for a dedicated Environmental Services Technician to join our hospital in Brookings, SD. This full-time role offers an evening shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM and focuses on maintaining overall cleanliness and sanitation throughout patient care areas, waiting rooms, and common spaces.

Responsibilities include general housekeeping duties, sanitizing patient and resident rooms, and following established cleaning procedures with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping processes.
• Must be able to do moderate lifting.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Compensation

Compensation range for this position is $16.00 to $23.69 Full time, benefit eligible, shift available.

Responsibilities

• This position will be responsible for general housekeeping duties including maintaining the overall cleanliness of Brookings Health System.
• Incumbent will also be responsible for sanitizing patient care areas, waiting areas, work surfaces, patient and resident rooms and restrooms.

• Must possess basic knowledge of housekeeping processes.
