Starting pay for this position is $16.52/hour. This is an hourly position.
Position Summary: Responsible for providing a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The EVS Worker will have some contact with patients and their families, including physical, psychological, educational, and safety-related interactions appropriate to the demographics of the patients served. Responsible for ensuring timely room cleaning, especially related to hospital patient throughput, and responding to requests to adjust workflow or area assignments to meet hospital/discharge flow needs. The EVS worker plays a vital role in hospital disinfection and infection prevention, adhering to quality standards.
