Job summary

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an Evening Shift team member to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment with hours 4:30pm–1:00pm on weekdays and every other weekend/holiday rotation. Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for a one-year commitment.

Responsibilities include cleaning assigned areas, sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, stocking supplies, and assisting with deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent preferred, work permit may be required.
• Ability to communicate through the oral and/or written process and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas such as administrative offices, public lavatories, lounges and public areas.
• Sweeps, dusts, dust mops and wet mops floors and stairways, spots carpets and buffs hard floors.
• Collects trash and refuses from work areas and completes appropriate disposal.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes baths, lavatories and shower fixtures; stocks paper and soap products as necessary.
• Dusts, washes, and extracts furniture; cleans and polishes glass surfaces and fixtures.
• Scrubs bathroom tiles, woodwork, lights and vents; maintains equipment and materials.
• Assists with setups, linen delivery, mail delivery and general deliveries.
• Vacuums and edges carpeted areas; performs other duties as assigned by manager.

Summary

Maintains a clean, safe environment inside and outside the hospital by performing duties according to departmental techniques, procedures, and needs. Scheduled work may include weekends, holidays, and/or a variety of shifts.

Essential Job Responsibilities
